What is the difference between a Response Trigger, E-Trigger, and E-Grip for paintball markers?

That LEEE kid is wrong.

Response trigger’s are also known as rebound triggers. What they do is for every trigger pull 2 balls come out. So when you pull back the trigger a ball comes out just like normal, and when you let go another ball comes out. This is a non-electronic trigger.

An E-Grip, and an E-Trigger are the same thing basically. They both let you choose different modes ( 3 Shot Burst, Semi-Automatic, Automatic, and Response). These triggers are electronic.

Overall, I would go with the E-Grip/Trigger. I had a one on my old gun, and so did my friend. They are better not only because they can give you modes, they give you response. So in your case you would get a 2-in-1 deal.

I hope this information helps you.

Response trigger is usually non-electronic, and is usually installed to cut the trigger pull length and weight.

E-triggers and E-grips have always been together in my mind. They implement an electronic power supply, usually a 9V battery. They can have select-fire options such as ramp (semi-auto up until the bps reaches a designated rate, at which it executes in excess of one cycle per trigger pull), semi-auto, and full-auto.

some allow the user to select the firing mode while the mechanism is fully installed on the marker, but others require the user to first remove the grip and battery in order to access a switch for choosing select-fire.

Hope this is helpful.

I myself have an Electronic trigger for my secondary pump.

p.s. If you find yourself getting a bit bored of your current setup, or if you find you’re shelling out a bit too much cash for comfort on paint, I recommend a C.C.I. Phantom. http://www.phantomonline.com

It’s what I’ve played with for over six years now. It can stretch a bag of 200 rounds to last a looong day of play.

I’m proud of her =]
