I recommend the regular 98 Custom, most bang for your buck, great durability, a lot of upgrades and customizeable parts. But if you have the money go for gold!

-Tippmann A-5 is 179.00
-Tippmann 98 Custom is 119.00
-Tippmann 98 Custom ACT is 169.00
-Tippmann 98 Custom ACT Platinum is 139.00
-Tippmann 98 CustomPlatinum is 119.00
-Tippmann 98 Custom Pro Platinum is 159.00
-Tippmann 98 Custom Pro ACT Platinum is 189.00
-Tippmann X-7 is 299.00
-Tippmann Pro Carbine is 139.50
-Tippmann C3 is 199.00
The difference between all this is simple, the ACT is anti-ball chopping, the platinum splits the reciever in half instead of lenghtwise and th pro just adds a drop forward really. The X-7 is basically an A-5 that looks cooler and the c3 runs off of propane and gets a supposed 50,000 shots a fill. The pro carbine is a predecessor of the 98 and is extremely rugged and reliable. In my opinion just go with a basic 98 or an Act if you really want it. If your in it for the cool factor get an X-7 if you have the money. Any more questions il be happy to help.
