With a proto SLG ($200) you would need an HPA tank ($150) to operate the marker…so lets throw that out the window. The smart parts vibe is a good entry level marker, and you can operate it with CO2. Consider spyders (electronic and mechanical) they are very reliable and good starter markers.
your best bet if getting the Proto SLG it’s a cheap affordable gun, that shoots up to 30 balls per second. it’s also made by proto which is just another branch of DYE, and that’s a damn good company. I own several of there markers and they’re all just great, they also offer REALLY good customer service, and stand by there product 100% here a vid on youtube showing the SLG

Tippmann 98 w/ a response trigger. I got mine for like $150, it is a work horse! Just be sure to get a revy loader.
