Tippmann X7 Phenom Paintball Marker Review and Shooting

by lindaranch1973 on April 6, 2010

Review of the Tippmann X7 Phenom paintball gun. Comes with flexvalve technology. It is a spool valve by Tippmann. Electronic but also has mechanical features, which let it shoot if the battery dies. Works with CO2 or compressed air. Operating pressure of 300. Built in reg. Selector switch for different mods. Programmable. 5 firing modes. Cyclone Feed system. Easy to assemble and breakdown. We show you how to field strip it. A few pins hold it together and make it easy to take apart. There is little kick on it, and the stream is solid. Pulling the trigger 3 times in less than 1 second puts it in full auto. Auto response, turbo, semi auto, etc. The manual has more details. Consistent on the chrono. Definitely a good job by Tippmann Sports on this paintball marker. Well coming from someone who works at a paintball merch store I can vouch for Tippmann being one of the farthest things from a “plasticy” marker, the Phenom included.

Childinfaith January 10, 2010 at 10:35 pm

LOL! The Victor is better to use as a cold blowdryer when compared to the Phenom!

But i AM thinking of upgrading. can anyone compare this one over normal x7 or bt delta elite?

Whoa!

That’s very good velocity consistency. I’m impressed. Definitely want one.

SWEET GUN, but why are ur ears blurry while ur face isnt

kingvater February 16, 2010 at 8:48 pm

its a focus issue with the cam, the camera is trying to get good detail on the gun as well as his face it also has to do with the color of his ears and the green screen

feels like i’m watching a Pimp give a marker review… after this video, he cruised over to the Boulevard and slapped some b*tches. Left them an imprint of his Pimp Ring.

@kkbforizzle It’s a LOAD better than a normal x7, and a bt delta elite (i’ve fired all three) but it’s also quite a lot more expensive. It’s probably close to the best woodsball gun there is at this point, but like i said, expensive.

The first thing I thought too. It’s important to set a good example to all the kids out there.
