For the first time on video, we get the GI Milsim Impulse50 .50 Caliber Paintball Marker shooting at the PSP World Cup 2009 in Polk City, FL. We were at the GI Milsim mega booth/tent and got some great footage of the Impulse 50, plus their other marker the Nano and the massive giveaway they held at the event. The tent had tons of product, a Playstation 3 set up and a flat screen for viewing the live webcast. The loader is supposed to hold somewhere between 400 and 500 paintballs. And a regular hopper is supposed to hold 400 paintballs. Word is that Smart Parts will be producing the paintball markers for GI Milsim (it is the brainchild of Paintball legends Richmond Italia and the Gardner brothers from Smart Parts). Chris Lasoya is behind the brand and one of their main pro players. Overall, the 50 cal markers were well received at the event… What do you think?

I totally agree because i believe in .68 and thats what it should stay at but if it helps the sport i’m all for it

is the tourqe loader like special made for 50 cal or is that 1 just stock??

reguardless of the loss in kinetic energy due to mass, I’d like to switch my SMG-60 over to .50 cal, but I need to test the .55 cal stripper clips to see what I can do with them. Does anyone know of a place to buy .50 cal paintballs yet?

its the world most painful ball i have tried….. freaking bleed everytime you get hit. Thats why its just traget shooting in this video.

The GI Micro, Nano and Impulse haven’t been released yet, and they cost $280, $600 and $800, respectively. They have yet to give a release date.
wait this only shoots .50 paintballs? thats kinda hard cause dont most fields use .68 anyways

you can make more 50cal paintballs for less money, its all about the money now adays
yea i see wat u mean, but look at the price of the .50 cal guns, i have an slg now, it only cost about $350 with all my upgrades, thats cheaper than the gi milsim guns, and the gun that has a conversion kit is the ego, which goes for $1250
