the markers themselves are not water proof. electronic markes, for obvious reasons, should be kept away from water in any form.
Most tippman owners, that i have met, say they can put a tippman in a creek and it’ll still shoot. probably true, but i don’t know anyone who has doen it. also there are parts on markers that will rust.
as far as the tanks, not sure, but probably not.
if it’s not electronic it’s most likely water proof. idk if it would work under water but i know for a fact if u take it apart and clean it, it would work fine.
belive me i’m from louisiana and lots of my friends are still playing with plaintball guns that were flooded in nasty, muddy katrina water.

Yes it is completly possible check out the underwater A5 video
